    The ~/.config directory and ~/.gconf and ~/.gnome have most of your settings. So just copying them over to your new user will give him those settings.

    I'm not sure how to do it...

    And in the file awn.desktop, add this line


    OnlyShowIn=GNOME;

    You just uninstall kubuntu-artwork-usplash package (or reinstall the ubuntu one if you don't want to uninstall this one). That will replace the splash screens.

    Each of your autostart files can be found in ~/.config

    Just add this line


    ONLYSHOWIN=GNOME;

    and it will start only in Gnome...
