canabal, did you ever fix the issue of repeated activations during login for Vista? I still haven't virtualized my vista and Jaunty partitions yet.

it does take while to virtualize since you're booting up your Windows partition; i did it because instead of switching which main OS to print from (shutdown, then restart...), i can use the printer...
you can get a new printer, or if you dual boot with XP, virtualize into your XP partition with virtualBox and print that way.
yeah, i was re-reading all the posts her and noticed noone figured out the fixes for the activation, or the errors in grub :(
i'm gonna check the virtualbox forums as well and see what they say...
you can definitely get XP to work inside virtualBox while in Linux, i did it last year.
the guide i posted is still in a working progress, i'm reading through it now and haven't seen anybody...
this is where creating a "virtual disk" comes in....
refer to the link i put up before: there's a tutorial of how to make one and run your virtualized OS from there.
there's a discussion about running Vista in VirtualBox while dual-booting Intrepid/Vista (probably was updated recently to accomedate Jaunty).

true, if it's USB, Linux will recognize it as another HDD and place a link to it right on the desktop
you can dual boot Ubuntu and XP together (if you have enough room in your hard drive, i did 20 linux and 20 XP on my 40 GB HDD).
also, you could use virtualbox to run XP inside windows......
edit: two ;)
