when I try to install vmserver it dies due to uninstallable dependencies.. does anyone know how to fix this?
mark@desktop:~$ sudo apt-get install vmware-server

i use jedit when programming or gedit when editing configs, but sometimes its just quicker and easier to do things in vim since the load time is so small..
i'm having a problem...
mines jedit..
it kind of reminds me of textmate...
highlighting, heaps of themes and plugins... nice all round, only draw back is its java with swing. so its a little slow sometimes, but only...
port number is 8080, i think i had to define the java home in bashrc which i hadn't done. all working fine now.
when i follow this it doesn't work.
it loads everything fine, but when i try to connect to localhost:8080 it says connection refused..
any idea what i can do to fix it?
