Thanks for that, but I'm referring mainly to opening the cd drive without a cd in it. I can't seem to find the cd rom icon in order to eject the drive to put a cd inside. LOL. Unity has me a bit...
Sorry if this is just THE stupidest question but I haven't used Unity before and I can't quite seem to figure out how to get access to the cd rom drive icon. You know, where you can right click to...
Nevermind. For the first time EVER since using online services and browsers, I had to reset Firefox. Have no idea what happened.
Not sure what happened or how to fix it, but overnight Firefox has gone completely whacked out on me. It won't display ANY webpage right at all. It seems that half the pages are loading, graphics...
I'm sort of having the same problems. I started using Ubuntu at 4.10 but it's been a few years since I've had it.
I used the option "install alongside Windows" and now for some reason I am not...
Sorry to bring up an old thread, but just updated to 10.10 last night and I am still getting the same errors. Is it fixed, am I doing something wrong here?
I use Mail2Web as my only email and...
Same here. Thanks for the tip. Any idea why it wasn't loaded at initial install?
Another vote for this movie. It was simply awesome. I'm seeing it again this weekend with the wife hopefully, otherwise I'll go by myself.
28 Weeks Later was great.
The Mist was great.
I just bought a Dell Inspiron 1520. It came standard with a 320 gig drive, if you can believe that. Well, Vista didn't even make to booting up the first time before I erased the drive and put Gutsy...
OMG! You're the culprit! I'm on NMCI right now as a matter of fact. I retire from the Navy in July 2008. I've been using this here Linux thing since version 4.10, which was what, Warty or Hoary? ...
I love Dell laptops. Mainly for the fact that Dell doesn't build them. Plus, their build options are more suitable for Linux than most other manufacturers. I've just bought two of them in the last...
Can some PLEASE explain to me why watching DVD's on Linux is soooo bad, but watching DVD's under Windows or OS X is okay?
I have done extensive research on typos, and that's a big one. :)
Cool. Thanks!
I'm trying to find either spades or cribbage for Linux. Is that at all possible, because I can't find them in the repos or over on sourceforge. There's GOT to be something out there, right?
Here's mine for the day:

Yep, same here. Started with 4.10 (Warty?). Just joined, too. Installed 7.10 on my new Inspiron 1520 last night.
I installed Gutsy on my new Inspiron 1520 yesterday. Vista didn't even get booted, I hit F12 to boot directly from cdrom. I wiped out the whole Vista install and installed Gutsy.
Everything...
