Yeah you can. I burned a Jaunty Alpha with Brasero to A DVD with a CD iso by mistake. And it worked :P
Heres the correct Jaunty Beta CD image:
Also try this and see if it makes any difference when burning:
MY BAD!! I didn't know they switched to DVD image's.
Did you try the Ubuntu Jaunty Beta??
It's pretty sweet and may well work where previous version's didn't.
Upgrade to Kubuntu Intrepid and install the 185.19 graphics driver. As updating to anything newer than 173 in Hardy will break your system.
EDIT:Actually did you set any registery WINE keys??
I kind of see their point, but it's pretty much a moment of madness. There are certain things that Photoshop can do that GIMP can't for instance. And if you where to broaden the argument to free...
setup.exe in system 32??
Ok try this.
Insert the Oblivion DVD. Right click on the Oblivion icon and choose "Open"
You should see a bunch of files. Find one called "setup.exe" and double click...
I bought a retail copy of Spore only for Windows to suddenly stop recognising my DVD-ROM drive. After some time spent researching I found out that quite a few other people where facing the same issue...
Do you click setup.exe on the Oblivion disc?
I'm guessing your using WINE 1.01. You may want to post your Ubuntu version (8.04, 8.10 etc...) and your system specs.
Do yourself a massive favour and junk Hardy. Upgrade to Intrepid. WINE works far better under it in my experience.
I think Windows Live Messenger/MSN Messenger require .NET, which is pretty sketchy under WINE. If I was you I would just download aMSN or emesene from the repositories (Applications>Add/Remove).
Cheap heartless Quak3 clone!!
Yawn -,- zZzZzZzZzZzZzzzzzzzz
Set WINE up to use a Virtual Desktop. That may well help.
And I assume you have WoW running in OpenGL mode?
As far as I know, if dosen't work with WINE or Cedega.
PLACED not PLACE >,<
Please do not threaten me in such a patronizing way. I should never have been place on moderation in the first place. If I hadn't raised the issue in the (cough) Resolution Center, I wouldn't have...
Autonomy Lost - Meshuggah
Uninstall the old version first!!!!!
Anyone else prefer the old one??
Compile WINE 1.1.8 (NOT 1.1.18!!) with the Fallout 3 Patch, that way you can enable shadows and HDR.
