    Re: Thunderbird theming

Yes, the upstream Thunderbird developers decided they wanted it to look nice on their Macs, so they thought it just fine to screw the compose window themeing for everyone else.

    Glad you got it working.

    Re: Medibuntu repositories closing

You were replying to me, and this is the ubuntu+1 (saucy) forum last time I checked.

Anyway, no matter. It is there for saucy and will presumably be so for raring at some point not too distant.

No probs. The pstate driver should be better than the old cpufreq driver either now or in the not too distant future. For me at the moment though it results in this laptop running around 10 degrees...

The package libdvdread4 includes a script /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh that automates the download and install from the videolan site.

  20. [SOLVED] Re: Ubuntu 13.10 - Kernel 3.12rc4 - CPU scaling not working right

The latest kernels run with the intel pstate driver active by default rather than the old acpi-cpufreq. So on your self compiled kernel you are seeing that, as you do not manually set frequency with...
