I solved this by myself. It looks like the ubuntu cd was not able to view and change the Windows 7 64bit partitions.
I had to modify the partitions from a windows live cd (mini pe), set the ubuntu...

I am trying to install ubuntu 10.4 on a pc which have already windows 7 64bit. I boot from ubuntu live cd, live cd works fine but installation fails.
Also if from Ubuntu live cd if I launch gparted...
