[all variants] Re: [Howto] Asus T91MT and Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick)

Just singular touch. Multitouch is currently broken.

I didn't even know that it had pressure sensitivity under Windows, or what it would be used for. My guess, would be no.

    Either option...

[all variants] Re: [Howto] Asus T91MT and Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick)

When you comment out the T91MT driver, you are removing it from a blacklist which prevents it from being compiled/used. When you add it to the blacklist, you are blacklisting the multitouch feature...
  3. [SOLVED] Re: Asus EeePC T91MT multitouch touchscreen [Lucid 10.04]

[all variants] Re: [Howto] Asus T91MT and Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick)

Sweet! If it works for me, I will include it into the original post.

No. The drivers don't support full 3D. So no Compiz, no KWin effects and no Unity. I'll update the OP to mention this.

    You...

Re: Median download speed Japan: 63 mbps [sic] !!!

I think 5Mbps is the fastest available here in Vancouver (for about $50 per month too).

However, I used to live in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Its the center of the oil fields, and is about 5 hours...

    Re: ATI Catalyst 8.5 released!

Hopefully this fixes the mass corruption I get with Compiz on Big Desktop that 8.4 introduced.
  11. Re: When customizing your desktop, which element is your "base"?

Depends. If I find a great wallpaper/theme/icon set/etc I will change to use that, and try to merge everything else as best I can.

I can fairly easily change the color of my theme and my icon set...

    Re: SSD Question

It's not just a place to copy stuff from the hard drive to, it is also used by the CPU to store data values relating to the processes it is running. So you would need a place off the file system that...

Of those shown, I like Vista the best. The Ubuntu improvement is quite nice too, but I do think that it needs some refinement (and a color change ).
