I'm not quite sure what the question is either. :) I just want to understand what is really happening behind the scenes, and what is the right choice to make when it comes to overprovisioning, esp....
(1) Overprovisioning an SSD is only partitioning a percentage of the SSD (say, 75%)?? ... or using no more than 75% of a drive that has been fully partitioned to the max??
(2) I'm curious how...

Perhaps you guys could consider using Remastersys to make backing up and restoring a system ridiculously easy!! You can use backup mode to backup your /home directory, too... or you can use dist...

As long as you can see the ISO, you should be good to go. You can add it to a virtual machine or you can go ahead and burn it to test out on another computer. You might wanna keep the ISOTMP, etc....
