In a folder called .m2 according to the Maven site. Also sometimes you have to launch the program initially for it to create the directory/config files.

Edit: Settings should be in the /home directory, the folder is probably hidden so you'll need to Ctrl+H to see hidden folders

Sometimes changing the channel on the router helps. I had a similar problem with Intrepid (8.10) on an old laptop, I changed the router to channel 1 and it worked perfectly.

Is it a Pixma? If so it reckons it "mostly" works on the Open Printing database, and that there's a commercial Linux driver available from Turboprint.
