I'm now with 10.10 64 bit & gnome shell
to get it working I had to remove all unity related items

now I cannot use the double tapping on the touch pad...

hi did you try before with the live-cd? was it working nice?

I`m writing from the 64bit beta2 iso mounted w/grub with wifi connection and all stuff *mic, wbcam, audio etc) seems working fine

- built in mic non recognized
- up-down webcam
- fn keys wifi toggle (FN+F2) calc (FN+num-pad-ENTER, not fixed)

for the record
asus x52f (lshw report it as k52f, like its mobo) with conexant codec works perfectly with the patch (post #315) either with 2.6.35-27 and 2.6.35-28
