hi there, i've had to go all the way up to kernel 3.8 to get my much desired hd-audio passthrough working with my intel hd4000 in a mac mini late 2012 quad core i7.
I'm on ubuntu 12.10 with kernel...
after much deliberation and hair pulling, of which i don't have much left, i have finally got hd-audio passthrough working on my dual booted mac mini late 2012.
i've had to push up to kernel 3.8...
on the stock install of 12.10 on my mac mini late 2012 with the broadcom card in it i got working using info from here.
