Can you tell me how you manage to send pictures by email from Shotwell?

Short term workaround for me is to install and use F-spot for emailing pictures.

I must be missing something really simple, but as far as I can tell, it's impossible to email pictures from Shotwell.

Is this right? Can it be done?

Whenever I plug in my Sansa Clip, it shows up fine in Nautilus but Rhythmbox doesn't see it so I can't transfer music to it.
