Thanks. The specific issue I'm concerned about is my Windows XP virtual machine. I would not want to have to rebuild the VM with a new install. Upgrading allows me to avoid that...

    Re: Open Source Presentation Program?

This is close to what I am looking for. I would like an equvalent to Sunday Show Plus for linux. This doesn't appear to support dynamic (video) backgrounds.
  5. Re: Howto: Get Network Manager to stop asking you for your keyring password (pam_keyr

When you say it works, what exactly works? I upgraded to 6.10 and every time I try and attach to a WEP keyed wifi network, it asks for my keyring password (twice).
    Thanks,
    Craig

is there some configuration I need to do to get it to stop asking for the keyring password? I upgraded to 6.10 and it still asks every time I turn the machine on or switch wifi networks.

    Rant on
I guess I will (reluctantly) wait. I'm disappointed in this flaw with Ubuntu. It essentially makes Ubuntu unusable as a mobile (WIFI) option when the user (my son and a student) does not...

    Ah,
Nice to see I'm not alone in losing my mind. My last update caused the keyring problem to return. I'll try upgrading again to v.7 of NM.
