I recently removed pulseaudio which came with ubuntu 10.4. Since then I wasn't able to use hot keys..so thanks really ment alot :)

Well I have only ubuntu on the machine and yet the same problem not only with flash playback but yet with all audio and video files I've locally seems something is wrong with this ubuntu :S
