    If youre using an HDMI cable, try using DVI. Some nvidia cards dont like HDMI cables, I have that problem with one of mine, no matter my settings colors are awful, but I swap to DVI and its fine...

    For the t430, Im running the OS on an msata ssd, I have another slot for a slim HDD or SSD and a hard drive...

    Kernel 4.10 adds support for am4 CPUs, as Ubuntu 16.10 currently runs 4.8, and I do not believe 4.10 has been added yet (or im really behind on my updates!)

    As long as the correct adapter is set, if running bridged, it doesn't matter if its wifi or Ethernet (as far as connecting to the network is concerned.)
