I have a Dell Optiplex 360 and I installed a Radeon HD 8670 / R7 250 in, otherwise nothing has changed. The only distro that will install is Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, everything else won't start an installer...
Yes, it looks like some kind of standard css measurement I'll have to study.
No I'm not trying to theme, I'm just trying to change the size of a panel.
I found it though I don't understand the measurement used:
#panel {
background-color: black;
font-weight: bold;
height: 1.86em;
}
I am trying to change the size of the panels from the default 30 pixels to 24 and all the info I can find is about gnome flashback and the tips don't work.
It was weirder than that. During an install of Wine from the ppa something changed. I spent a couple of hours on IRC figuring this out. Purged wine, reinstalled, gnome classic works fine.

I am using UbuntuGnome 14.04 and when I try to log into Gnome Classic I just get a black screen, no panels or windows, nothing. Clicking doesn't do anything.

Same as last month. Fvwm 2.6.5. Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
I changed the look for December. That's what I love about Fvwm: if you get bored if one GUI, you can have any other you want....
I changed my Fvwm config for December (Fvwm can have a never ending variety of GUIs). Can't wait to share!
