    Qt under Gnome.

    I know Qt, and i like the way it's designed.
    but i prefer Gnome on my machine... my question is... will my program be less useful under Gnome if i choose to use Qt over Gtk?
    What are the drawbacks...

    it didn't work for me though... Button10 does nothing when i put it as a shortcut... and i deleted the xbindkeys entry...

    this is wierd, 3400+ and 6800GT got 19000 while you only get 14500??? seems like the drivers for the 7800GT aren't that optimised yet... are you running the amd64-k8 kernel and the latest nvidia-glx...

    yep pressing F12 on the keyboard does what it should do... but the mouse won't do it even though it seems to generate the keypress for F12....
    any ideas?

    i change the line to:
    "/usr/bin/xvkbd -xsendevent -text "\[F12]""
    m:0x0 + b:10

    but it still doesnt work...
    xev gave me this:

    around 9300 with P4 3Ghz 2GB DDR4300 GeForce7600GT
    running with compiz - i can change the opacity/brightness/saturation and drag the window around with the wobbly plugin - it doesn't affect the FPS...

    i tried adding


    "/usr/bin/xvkbd -xsendevent -text "\[Alt_L]\[Tab]""
    m:0x0 + b:10

    but that doesn't do what Alt+tab does.... how can i emulate Alt+tab with my mouse? (im using compiz...)

    ok.... i don't know if it's only my mx500... but using 1 3 2 in Xmodmap is wrong... 1 2 3 makes the buttons work fine.

    well, if anyone get the message i got, just install libxtst-dev.

    anyway... this wierd button behaviour is making me nuts!

    funny, i got the middle button acting like the right button and the right button acting like the middle button.... and <button 10> (the one above the scroll down button acts like the left...
