I have the same problem with my conky, for me it triggers when I use quake or minimizing another application
@scratch178 I am using gmail and it works, are you sure that your mail provider support imap?
my conkyEmail is at version 2.13
kaivalagi´s script (click here) is working great with gmail , you can use a command like this one
${execi 100 conkyEmail --servertype=IMAP --servername=imap.gmail.com --ssl --username=yourusername...

I also support this idea, if you use a standard command to call information from conky it will be much easier for newbies (like me) to understand what they do, also I have to point that...

what is the weather api you are using?
@TBG -is moon phases implemented in your script?
The conky setup that I am using for now, most of them are known already ;).
Also is it possible to show stock evolution in a much prettier graph (maybe using lua)?
