Lol...yon pala pangalan nun. I'm using Pinguy OS kasi and it comes pre-installed. Nice app but sometimes annoying.
At the lower right side of the MMC, there's a drop down menu for the video quality and even a button for advanced options. Have you tried using the "low" setting?

I can't see why community support for Super OS is a big deal. You have the biggest open-source community behind you- the Ubuntu community. Super OS is by all counts, Ubuntu.
If you like a dock with really funky animations, try cairo-dock instead of docky.
How about using SuperOS instead of plain vanilla Ubuntu? I think it has the NVIDIA and ATI video drivers with the LiveDVD. Once the video drivers are installed, you can then activate Compiz Fusion...
If you are using Lucid, try installing Gyachi for Jaunty from loell's. I'm using it now.
