I am interested in buying a 7.1 system for my PS3 to take advantage of 7.1 sound, either uncompressed, or in the dobly dts/hd etc formats.

The PS3 decodes the audio formats and then sends them out...

Mine is Cheeky B*st*rd. This is from Family Guy. My parents have Hacker Bandits.

The wi-fi I can see is secured above average for the nation. I heard 40% are secure, around here it is closer to...

Re: All Open-Source Gaming Center??? (opinions)

Someone tried this is in Southeast Asia, but I don't remember what country. No "big name" games came there, so every one was content with what was offered. It all worked out well.

Poll: Re: Xbox 360 or PS3? which should i get?

Dropping online play is why I won't buy the new James Bond game. I can't play 4 people on the same screen, unless I use a Wii. Thus I would be stuck with single player missions. I still play...

Poll: Re: Xbox 360 or PS3? which should i get?

Since you want to have the console for a long time, you don't want to be focused on online play. The number of people online drops as time goes on.

Online play is online play. You have your...

    Re: Core i7 Disected

I hear motherboards are supposed to cost as much, or more as the processors.

Supposably they are not overclock friendly, due to a 130 watt tdp overhead, that when reached, the cpu downclocks...

Poll: Re: Have you ordered a Dell Mini Inspiron 9?

I am waiting on having a desktop before I replace my laptop with something that won't run my video games.

I would also rather buy an AMD based netbook, which might come out later. If it has the...
  12. Re: Laptop backlight power cable frayed. Is it possible to repair?

Send in your computer without the hard drive. They don't need it to check a screen. When I sent mine in, I keep the cd drive, hard drive and battery because they wanted to save on shipping costs.

Re: Spiderman is better than Batman!!!

Spiderman has no physical issues. I'm getting that idea from the movie, not needing glasses. Batman's eyes can go bad.

Its always worth noting that Spiderman doesn't need to latch his web to...

Re: why do we still have cd/dvd drives?

The music industry, gaming industry and movie industry use them. Can not manipulate the data on them and come out with the same cd (as apposed to hard drives or sd cards).

Re: HOWTO: Improve battery life on a laptop
