    @sudodus - thanks. The copy to the usb was SO much faster when I formatted it to EXT4. Previously it was MSDOS, incredibly slow. As long as Windows 10 can read the (ext4) formatted usb contents.

    Thanks, it seems I don't need it, as the Samba sharing works fine without the firewall rules for "V6". An interesting tests at https://ipv6-test.samba.org/ and https://test-ipv6.com/

    That's quite some testing there. You are much more proficient with Samba/shares than me. I have to stick with what works now, the SSH/SFTP side of things.

    Possibly why your WIN10 machine...
