[SOLVED] No network connection in VirtualBox

There's a recent thread on this issue, but since it's already marked as solved, and the suggested solution doesn't work for me, I thought I'd better start my own thread.

  6. [kde] Bluetooth headphones not recognized in Phonon

Bluetooth headphones/microphone are a great thing, but getting them to work under KDE can be troublesome. I've had identical problems in Kubuntu 12.04, 12.10 and Linux Mint KDE 13. On the other hand,...

[ubuntu] Re: Ubuntu HP Photosmart question

[ubuntu] Re: Ubuntu HP Photosmart question

Thanks for the reply. I don't think my router lets me do what you suggest; I just checked http://192.168.1.1/ and the only things I can configure are the ESSID, the encryption type (WEP, WPA, etc.)...

Enabling the partner repositories did the trick. I find it odd that Medibuntu provides only the 64-bit version of acroread.

    Thanks again!

[ubuntu] Re: Where are the acroread packages in Jaunty?

According to this page, Medibuntu's acroread in Jaunty is available for the amd64 architecture only, not i386. This seems odd, as acroread has always been available for 32-bit systems.
