  4. [ubuntu] Re: Error starting up 2nd instance of Apache on the same server (make_socket) on 12.0

Apache only use ports you tell it to use. port 61709 isn't a commonly used port.

So what ports did you tell Apache to use?

You configure it the same way as you would a physical host. So look at the instructions for whatever distribution you're using.

[ubuntu] Re: kworker blocking important ports (80)

"kworker" is a placeholder process for kernel worker threads. It doesn't use ports, nor does it block any.

What you think is port 80 is actually PID(process ID) 80

    Use this, if nothing is...

  21. [ubuntu] Re: During 13.04 upgrade, failed to remove packages

    Ubuntu 13.04 uses Python v3.3

Like I said, APT usually knows best. Let it upgrade and/or remove packages. You're likely run into issues trying to keep outdated packages.
  22. [SOLVED] Re: Question Yes do x No do not do x in bash script

  24. [ubuntu] Re: During 13.04 upgrade, failed to remove packages

What was the name of the package? Was it the Python interperter, or a Python module? It's either going to remove/upgrade or if it's a module it probabably doesn't need it anymore. APT usually knows...
