Hi,
I uninstalled ALSA and installed OSS, and although it works fine there are a few problems :
Google Chrome v.23 (stable) - No sound in flash or html5.
Sound Volume Control - The default...
Making a few questions in the pulseaudio IRC channel, it seems it never supported OSSv4. :(
Any thoughts ?
I'm trying to make PulseAudio use OSS instead of Alsa. And, although, I have sucessfully installed OSSv4, pulseaudio seems unable to use it.
OSSv4 Installation Procedure:

Is there a 'ticket' for this nautilus bug ?
I believe rb is at a dead end in terms of new features, unless new developers appear. You could always check if Songbird has the features you want.
Try a earlier version of rubyripper.
EDIT: Did you click on the button ? Try using the keyboard to press the button.
It seems the new changes that come with gtk+ 2.18 cause some mouse problems with some apps. I've been experiencing problems with Flash not correctly catching 'clicks', for example.
Is there a bug...
Ok, thanks.
As it appears to be undocumented for now, i'll leave this example code:
Application.Init();
Gtk.Builder builder = new Gtk.Builder();...
Yes.
Already did. Didn't work. And looking at .glade example file i'm guessing it's because i'm using a .glade generated by Glade 3.
I was trying not to use Stetic. :S
Are there C# libraries for glade-3 ?
I found some documentation, but it seems to be dated...
I find avibox more reliable than mplayer for muxing.
EDIT: Did you check mplayer's dependencies ?
Try using the rc3, you can get it from this ppa - http://ppa.launchpad.net/rvm/mplayer/ubuntu .
PS: Use instead avibox to mux the audio and video track.
I don't think it has, StarCraft is still very much avaliable at the Blizzard Store and probably all things considered still selling reasonably well.
I would look more on the possibility of just...
It might be possible by tweaking some options... but you are sure to lose compression and/or quality in the process.

Drop by the IRC channel and talk to the devs. One of them might be open to the idea.
I grant you the XboX advantage, but not the customer base. If OpenGL/OpenAL is at least on the same level as DirectX for game dev there shouldn't such a huge difference between the number of OpenGL...
Look, most game developers choose DirectX over OpenGL/OpenAL, so one has to ask why ?
You're talking about desktop pc games ? A few things have to come to be in order for that to happen.
Off the top of my mind:
OpenGL catching up to DirectX (game-wise) or DirectX for Linux (not...
Yeah, granted.
But that doesn't mean that the reasons they had to abandon a linux port are not valid.
I'm not sure it has... Don't get me wrong, i like that id opensourced some of it's engines, but as to gaining anything other than goodwill, i doubt it. It's not like developers started making a bunch...
The cost of making such an unofficial hack port is probably much greater, it's that simple. And if it doesn't really makes a lot of sense doing it, then why do it ?

Define "we". If i buy a game i expect support, oficial support. Most users do...
As for Mac users VS Linux users, it's not as simple as you make it sound, as the cost of supporting a MacOS user...
That's not really a solution... more like a bad compromise. Besides (as i'm sure you know) large numbers of users wouldn't buy a game from a company that offloads support to the "community".
Although MacOS X is Unix, that doesn't mean that all the libraries are the same...
Besides supporting MacOS X is VERY different from supporting the various Linux distributions, that lack basic...
