in shell i typed
Xorg -configure
then when it finished i typed
nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf

and i added under Section "Monitor"...

i installed linux after windows from the live cd and it isnt grubs ault because when i tell grub where windows is it is windows that tells me that bootmgr is missing but i will still do the test...
