NB. for those using the Elo driver

# cd /etc/opt/elo-usb
# ./cpl
and in the control panel applet untick "beep on touch" in sound preferences.
This worked for me.

I'm using an Elo 19" touch monitor with Ubuntu 12.04.02 and everytime i touch the monitor the computer's system speaker beeps on release. it's seriously buggin. how do I disable the system speaker...

I switched my computer on today as per normal, but unplugged my wifi dongle and my system has been in this boot sequence with lots of numbers and system info displayed on the screen for hours please...

I can confirm that Brutal Legend is working on my desktop pc running Kubuntu 13.04 with Catalyst 13.4 drivers (AMD closed source drivers)... and that it totally rocks to the max!
