I am using Zorin OS 11 Based off of Ubuntu 15.10.... Last weekend i setup a dual boot, i created a 50 GB partion by splitting it from my Main OS Windows 10, and i installed Zorin.......

Dell Inspiron 1464, 4 GB ram, I3, Lubuntu, (and Ubuntu 14.04 if you don't have the same issues as me)

Everything works, other than some screen tearing and very occasional slowness, which I think...

I'm using the Latest Lubuntu, on a oldish Inspiron 1464 laptop, After using it for a while occasionally It may start showing white boxes left behind Windows and applications, Ive noticed it a lot...

Just discovered something new with windows 8 computers.

Because windows 8 boots too fast they changed the way the computer starts with the New UEFI Advanced Boot menu.

I belive it WAS UEFI but not ubuntu wont detect the windows 8 partion because it erased it. now when it boots it goes directly into grub after showing the Dell logo and in the bottom right corner...

SOS! Currently one of my friends is having a issue with there ubuntu 14.10 installation, and his bios will not work at All, it just goes into the Grub after passing the DELL loading screen that says...

so im guessing i can fix it only by trying diffrent distros?

What is the best linux distro for this HP 2133 with GUI and supports the most software, yet runs decently without the graphics issues?

i have a mini computer, its a HP 2133, i got this out of a box and it has been sitting there for almost 8 years, i turned it on a installed lubuntu with a usb dongle.... everything worked fine..........

my windows 7 still works but ubuntu does not show internet wireless connections. right now i am using a cable

i got the same thing and i got a dell inspiron, with dual boot windows 7 and ubuntu. I hate ubuntu so far because the wireless is not working while on windows 7 wireless works perfect!
