  3. Re: Create A Drag And Drop Script For PDF Code

I created a launcher, and linked it to the script. I enlarged the launcher just to make it easier to see if I was dropping it on top easier.

It appears to work, at least for drag and drop...
  4. Re: Create A Drag And Drop Script For PDF Code

    Thanks for that.

Adding the .sh extension and making it executable definitely puts it in the right direction.

I still can't figure out a drag and drop solution.
  5. Create A Drag And Drop Script For PDF Code

I was trying to find a way to create some sort way to have a script run on a file if I drag the file onto it.

For example, using this pdf resize code:

    [ubuntu] Linux Game Development Unity

I think it would be preaching to the choir if I were to extol the benefits of development and design on Linux. Most especially here.

In the ever expanding game development world, WYSIWYG editors...

I tried this install on a fresh ubuntu 10.0.4.1 64 bit and ran into the same error you did.

  15. [ubuntu] HOW TO: Install Maya, Matchmover and Toxic 2011 on Linux64 bit Ubuntu 10.04

The installation packages that come with Maya are .rpm packages. To get this running we need to convert the packages to .deb. For that use Alien.

That is what I was figuring, it looks like HP isn't supporting a 10.04 MIE. Which is bad because the MIE interface is pretty cool.

I have the HP Ubuntu repositories, but nothing.

Re: Adobe CS5 Products with Wine

I saw CS4 run on Michael Natkin's dev platform/workstation here in Seattle. He seems pretty cool and I think, supports open source. These are the kind of folks Linux users need to talk to directly.
