Recuva found nothing apart from really old files. I'll try one of the Ubuntu file recoveries in a bit. If that doesn't work are they gone?
Would rebooting matter that much, since the files were stored on a 2tb hard drive that is used for storage only, no OS files. If they were to go to the C:\ drive there wouldn't have been enough room...
I'll let the Recuva file recovery finish and see what it finds, if nothing, then I'll have to try it in Ubuntu.
