    Exactly the same for me ... Upgraded tonite, and same symptoms as above. Tried configuring via "startup manager", but changed nothing.

    Hi,

    I upgraded yesterday from 8.04 to 8.10 on my Dell Latitude D830 with an Nvidia graphics card.

    Everything went fine, except that since then, when I log in, the computer loads a few things...
