    Hi all, I upgraded to Hardy recently (from Gutsy 7.10), and I am having a bit of a problem.

    I dealt with the same thing when upgrading to Hardy. When you upgrade, the OS "re-disengages" the restricted drivers, so you have to re-enable / re-install them again.

    Same thing here.

    I upgraded to hardy ubuntu, and my drive just starts randomly getting accessed for 5 or 10 minutes at a time....making it very hard to browse the internet, or to use any programs....
