OK, so the file I posted is for the generic kernel. :-)
I really don't know what low-latency and generic kernels are. I'll tell you what I did, maybe from that you can tell me what I have.
In my...
I compiled the "ir-common.ko" required to disable the in-built IR recognition of Feisty. This file is for the default kernel of Feisty, namely 2.6.20-15
I can't believe anybody is even willing to compare the end-user usability of phpBB and vBulletin. Leaving alone the argument about open source, surely, there can't be any other argument. Maybe SMF...
Exactly what I was looking for (the "delete" attribute part). Thanks!
"any" is an invalid argument.
Do u know of ANY success story about your program working on AMD64 Edgy? With Netgear WG111v2? Any driver?
Hey givre! Thanks a lot for this utility. Works great (at least for the past 10 mins) on Edgy AMD64, SATA HDD with a number of NTFS partitions.
Haven't tested with removable drives yet.
But...
That doesn't make a difference. On executing the "iwconfig wlan0 freq <any freq>" command, I get the same error.
To heck with WPA. I've temporarily disabled all security on my router. I want Edgy to connect to my unsecured router.

I'm using AMD64 version of Edgy and have used the 64 bit RT8187 driver (available on the Realtek Site) in ndiswrapper. I'm using the same driver on Win x64 where WPA works. So the driver definitely...
If this message was directed at me, I'm already using ndiswrapper. Any other suggestions?
Yes, I'm using WPA-PSK with TKIP.I've made the change to the wpa_supplicant.conf file, as you suggested. Now it looks like:

Yes, I've tried Network Manager. I've tried both the versions, one from the Synaptics Package Manager and the other from SVN. The Synaptics version has only WEP in it. The SVN version was supposed to...
No, my router is set to WPA-PSK, with TKIP. I know this is correct, because I connect to the same router from my windows laptop. SSID broadcasting is ON.
I've followed the HOW-TO exactly.
I've got a Netgear WG111v2 USB dongle that I have installed using NDISWRAPPER.

I cannot connect at all, whatever I use. The max I'm able to achieve is detecting the wireless network. Network Manager, WPA-Supplicant, et al have all be unsuccessful.
