    You could just tweak the config file to set MINSTART and MINSTOP to the same PWM value depends on your comfortable noise level. This should get your fan speed constant for all temp values.

    Yes, the fan speeds up. I guess once the script is unload, no software is taking control over the fan so all fans will go full speed.
