I have Ubuntu 14.04 on my desktop but recently I downloaded Ubuntu-Mate for a trial. I used 'Startup Disk Creator' to load it on a USB drive....all went as it should!

Using 14.04 LTS...........copy & paste and it says command not found

After the latest update my system is booting very slow so I thought I would try 'systemd-analyze blame' but was advised that command was not found.

I removed the files as suggested and this cleared the splash screen problem and I will do a fresh install when 16.04 is available...........I can't see much point in searching for the cause of the...

I renamed files/folders starting with Lubuntu and re-ran the code suggested

What operating system do you have on your machine now? Use that to download Lubuntu or perhaps look at Peppermint!
