[all variants] Re: Asus T91 linux installation

Sounds like something is wrong with your t91mt.

Do you have any issues when using the track pad by any chance? How about the track pad's right and left click buttons?

The pointer doesn't lift? I can't say I've had that issue in 10.10.

    Can you elaborate?

twofing should work, so long as you edit the rules file to point it at the correct device, since twofing was written with the t101mt in mind. There should be another post regarding 10.10 and twofing...

the copy of twofing that I attached has a hackish workaround for the seg fault I had been experiencing, so, hopefully you won't get that crashing problem at all..

T91MT owners: you should add the utouch PPA and install the hid-mosart-dkms package, it contains the patched mosart kernel module, which has functional multitouch.

    sudo add-apt-repository...

The mosart kernel driver doesn't support pressure sensitivity.. It's unfortunate, becuase it would be really useful for painting programs. Hopefully someone will complete the driver.

  17. [SOLVED] Re: Asus EeePC T91MT multitouch touchscreen [Lucid 10.04]

  19. [SOLVED] Re: Asus EeePC T91MT multitouch touchscreen [Lucid 10.04]

It seems that you missed a step, you need to add the multitouch quirk:

    Edit /usr/src/multitouch-1.5/drivers/hid/usbhid/hid-quirks.c
    Add the following line after "} hid_blacklist[] = {"

    {...
