    Apperantly the Canadian mirrors are down. You can try changing mirrors in software sources, or just wait until the mirrors are back up.

    This can be easily done in Pidgin and lots of other available msn programs. I would recommend checking there instead, as giving away your password on some site is seldom a good idea.
