i can upload and download from the device, and delete stuff off it. you can even make a playlist through gMTP. it's not pretty, but its working

I bought a 30GB zune player around 2009, or at least before I started using linux. I was never able to get it working with linux due to some kind of encrypted handshake MS used on it - until 2 days...
only thing i've been able to do is disable webapps plugin at about://plugins
hi, Chromium just updated via the updat emanager and now every site i go to brings up the unity webapps permission dialogue.
any ideas what has gone wrong?

only thing i've used for tagging on ubuntu is easytag, but i was doing it all manually.i dont think it'll do a web search from a selction of files and get the full details and art, but im not sure....
ah, a slight hitch has arisen for me on the cron side of things.
i used Gnome schedule to set up the cron, and had to select 'x application' as the behaviour in order for VLC to start up on...

ubuntu can stream any audio to airport express, using the pulse audio control.
in UNR i had to install a few packages, pulse audio raop play and padevchooser. you get them in the synaptic package...
it worked!
im running mint on a persistent USB drive.
