I think unity is fine for what it is. The duo has 2 things that arnt exactly common among netbooks and that is 1 a touch screen, and 2 a dual core processor. UNE is designed for something just a tad...
If you change the screen res to 1360x769 it is still 16:9 and high res but things get just a hair bigger. then if you go into appearance and change font sizes up a bit things get just barely big...

You actually can resize it you just have to have decoration on. It is a bit hard to do it without the touchpad, but it can be done.
