    With such and old card and on a tv then it is quite possible no one has an answer for you.

    You are correct re the xorg as your tv won't be sending edid info to assist...

    In the window that opens choose the right hand tab 'Additional Drivers' and see if there...

    As Temüjin posted the 3850 should run Unity fine with the open source driver.

    My HD3650 works well with Raring c/w dual monitors.

    brasero can be problematic on some hardware....
    As the previous poster said install xfburn..

    sudo apt-get install xfburn
    or use the Ubuntu Software centre.

    First try the simple stuff.... power off and unplug from the power socket. Remove the battery and go do something else for a half hour. Then replug and boot up from cold and see what happens.

    You will need some sort of stage for this.

    You need more intermediate images. Three, using those spacings is not enough.
    Focus stacking needs overlap, it is not for taking several disparately focused images and expecting there to be massive...
