I have installed ubuntu 9 and then upgraded to 10. The problem is resolved now. But I have lost some data & files which were in my system Ubuntu 8 :( .

How can I install it on Ubuntu?

When I boot the LiveCD and I press F2, F6,... from the Language selection page, or I want to change the language, nothing changes or would be displayed.
I should wait to the end of 20s, 19s, 18s,...

the one which I have created with gparted is /dev/sda2, but the opened menu.ls is empty. Should I edit it

whith grub-install -v, I obtain

grub-install (GNU GRUB 0.97)

is that means my version is 0.97 :confused:

I don t know which grub-version I am using, but as I can t find the grub.cfg file, I estimate I use grup 2. How can I verify it:confused:
