    hey,i installed the driver from the above file and it worked for me. give it a shot and see. it's normal to see warnings when you run the makefile command, it's only errors you have to worry about.

    Problem solved. Sorta.

    I Had to remove the 64 bit installation and install 32 bit version of ubuntu 10.10. Wireless works perfect now. must be a 64 bit incompatibility with drivers.
