You got to *bump* it up...
Thanks for your hint, but what did you edit/modify in there?

Seems like the networkmanager is causing the invisible warning.

You're right. The Networkmanager (and logically the applet) is not loaded after the startup. Or maybe its crashing while the startup (the mentioned warning sound on the logon-screen some posts above).
No changing the configuration changes nothing.
Even if I add DEBUG (because this helps to start the NetworkManager manually) to
[logging]
level=ERR,WARNit won't work.
I'll try some other or...

If you used

Since the updates there's no network manager icon anymore :/
At the network connections window no networks are displayed.
dmesg | grep wlan shows me nothing.
Thank you for your reply. Ok then the module is loaded if you say so :D
I deleted all mentioned blacklists except of "/etc/modprobe.d/broadcom-sta-common.conf". This file was not present.

I dont know why I should blacklist a module which is not loaded anyway, but I did.
I blacklisted bcma and atl1c with the following commands

lsmod | grep -e wl -e bcma -e brcmsmac
shows nothing. none of these modules are loaded. loading one of them (except of wl - which is not available) doesn't change anything, except its loaded then.
