Tried Natty 11.04 and kernel 3.1.rc7 ( oneirc ) and X is working again.
It lookes like Suspend and Hibernate are working (tough there are some errors, but both seems to work).

Yep you have to issue all rfkill commands again after each reboot, I just did that after closing the lid :) which takes me to the next issue
