Do i just not have to edit xorg.conf at all anymore? I remember when 1st using FGLRX having to change quite a few settings.
It's been quite awhile since i used ubuntu and it seems things were moved around a bit. I don't know what video driver I'm using. DRI is enabled and xorg.conf just shows "configured video device"....
Sorry things didn't work out for you, but that was a completely useless post. Did you follow the many guides around here, or did you bother to check the wiki? That wiki has yet to fail me with any...
You can't run WoW under beryl/xgl/AIGLX. You need to boot in a regular session :)
WHen using cedega though it crashes at log-in :(
Worked fine with me, just from the cd, actually didn't work when i copied to the computer lol

also dont install linux-restricted-modules-`uname -r`-nvidia-legacy if your using dapper because it doesnt exist :)

I got it to work yesterday. Tseliot in your guide for nvidia-glx-legacy delete the part where you had "linux-restricted-modules-`uname -r`-nvidia -legacy" that package doesnt exist anymore.

i didnt install it that way, i just used teh nvidia-glx package in the repos. SHould i download it?

my card is pci not agp (GeForce2), and the glxgears averages about 350 fps.

how do u mount your appropriate partitions if u can't get past the manual partition screen?(install cd) u just press enter and it doesnt go away.
