Its the way its designed, its better than the windows way of doing it. Iv always prefered triple clicking to clickdragging.
This wont happen, because its not that simple, in SOME cases it could be easier to port an app to wine rather than to linux, but because wine is an emulator, it would just bloat the games that tried....
