    I'll stick with CIFS.

    I rebooted and it appears to still be working fine.

    I found spot in the QNAP shared folds section that has a dropdown for "Microsoft Networking Host Access" where I had to specify which hosts have this access. I did that and it's working again...

    So your session startup command should look like this:

    Does it start properly or as expected if you just type conky at the command line? If so, try adding the path to it in your start script.
