I'd posted: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2459425. and it appeared to have fixed my problem. Meaning they NAS shares mounted as I cd'd to them or one of my applications...
That appears to have worked. I have several automated applications that start on boot and when I ssh'd in after the reboot, the mounts were there already. Thank you Very much!!!
I'm running an Ubuntu 20.04 desktop VM on a QNAP NAS. I have the NAS mounts in my fstab and credentials files in my home dir.. When I reboot it doesn't auto mount my NAS shares but if I run sudo...

Lets try something else first.
At the end of your session startup command line add: > /tmp/conky.out 2>&1
So your session startup command should look like this:

Okay here we go....
My startup script looks like: (which may be overkill, but it works)
#!/bin/sh
# conky startup script
sleep 10
If that doesn't help I'll walk through how I have mine configured.
Does it start properly or as expected if you just type conky at the command line? If so, try adding the path to it in your start script.
I ran sudo apt-get update and then sudo apt-get upgrade this morning and found no updates.
After reading this thead I just went through the update manager and it found two. I canceled out and...
