I looked at this before - I've installed the new ubuntu 10.04Lts IS it possible to export your calendars from Evolution to another "Organiser/Cal" using the i-cal format ?I beleive...

I do not seem able to "Export" to an ical file from within Evolution - this is possible with Sunbird and Korganiser - is this a plugin that needs activating?

Not sure EXACTLY what the prob is - I assume your running it from your HDD and NOT a CD ?
If the machine your running it on is your ONE AND ONLY computer I'd advise NOT to mess with it and accept...

I had this under jaunty (the last system upgrade) plus I lost sound on streaming video (You Tube) and TV iPlayer etc...
All was restored under the latest upgrade 9.10 - I would try a re-install....
