I couldn't install Ubuntu 11.4 on my laptop because its just comes up with a black screen ! :( please help me ...

When I put the cd in and boot into 11.04 the whole screen goes black. It works great on ubuntu 10.10, so why is it not on 11.04 ?

My laptop is an acer aspire 5736z
