Install hplip-3.11.3a manually, then it works.

It works with hplip-3.11.3a, which you will have to build youself, since Ubuntu (10.04 at least) comes with an earlier version.

You are missing end endif (fi) before your closing bracket.

This wont work until the rewrite mod is enabled
